Whether it is promoting Europe’s businesses to Japanese and Korean investors, celebrating European venture capital or running responsible investment training courses – there’s never a dull moment for the EVCA events team.
We’ll be flying the flag for Europe with the EVCA Investors Seminar in Tokyo and Seoul on December 9 and 11. Two years ago we hosted a meeting of 60 pension funds in Tokyo to explain that Europe was very much open for business. Building on the success of 2011, we will also be visiting Seoul, with the support of Invest Korea, to meet pension funds, insurance companies and, excitingly, corporate investors looking to put money to work in Europe’s businesses. Places are limited so book now.
Before flying to Asia, we’ll head to Berlin, one of Europe’s most exciting innovation hubs, for this year’s EVCA Venture Capital Forum on 7/8November. It’s a dynamic event featuring investor panels, thought-provoking debate and fantastic networking.
Just a week after Berlin, we’re in Brussels where the EVCA Academy is holding its second Integrating Responsible Investment Academy Course. Responsible investment is one of the most relevant and discussed subjects for investors and managers alike. But what are the practical implications of following a responsible investment agenda on the daily operations of a fund? This course is designed specifically to help you develop a strategy that fits your operation. Find out more here.
And of course the events team is also working hard on next year’s calendar of events – it really is non-stop!
See you in Berlin, Brussels, Tokyo and Seoul!
